How the Pro Logger Works

Get a better understanding of how the EXACT Loggers measure, transmit, and store temperature data

  • By default, the EXACT Logger wakes up every 15 minutes, at the 0th, 15th, 30th, and 45th minute of every hour.
Contact us if you want to change this reporting interval.
  • It takes temperature measurements from all connected probes + ambient.
Note: the logger will ALWAYS measure and transmit an ambient temperature reading, even if no probes are connected

  • The Logger then transmits the measured temperature readings to the nearest Relay.
  • If there is no Relay within close enough proximity, or the Relay is offline (dead battery, no signal), then the logger will store the measured readings in its internal memory.
  • On the next transmission window, the Logger will transmit the new readings it picked up alongside any saved readings in its memory.

  • The Loggers can save up to 21 days worth of temperature measurements.
  • It will automatically re-transmit up to 7 days worth of saved data.
  • Older data will need to be manually re-claimed by an EXACT Admin. Please contact us for this request.
