Flex Calibration - User Guide

Learn how to quickly calibrate your Flex Loggers using the EXACT Calibration Device

What you need

  • EXACT Calibration Device (Part # EX-FCAL-1)
  • A magnet
  • The EXACT Flex Logger to be calibrated
  • A location with good cellular connectivity

Calibration Procedure

Follow those 8 steps to complete the calibration process of your Flex Loggers

1. Fully charge the Flex Logger. The Flex Logger LED will flash green once the device is fully charged

2. Ensure the ambient temperature during this calibration is between 18 °C to 28 °C (64.4 °F to 82.4 °F)

3. Ensure the Flex Logger is not charging as the calibration is performed

4. Connect all 4 probes from the Calibration Device to the 4 Flex Logger ports

5. Swipe a magnet over the serial number label of the Flex Logger

⚠️ If the LED on the Flex Logger starts blinking red after the magnet swipe, then the Flex Logger does not have sufficient battery to start the calibration process. The Flex Logger will need to be fully recharged.

6. The LED on the Flex Logger will blink yellow as calibration starts

7. Wait for the Flex Logger LED to turn green

⚠️ If the LED does not turn green, refer to the Errors section below

8. Once the LED is green, your Flex Logger has been calibrated and the calibration certificate can be found on the EXACT Portal
