Best Practice - Probe Installation

The Do's and Don'ts of probe installation. Get a better idea of how to install your probes properly for ultra-reliable monitoring.

 

Do not leave probes hanging loose. Do not put stress on the probe connectors.	Secure wires using zip-ties. Leave a small amount of slack on connectors.

Do not spiral probe around rebar; it will not have any give and will rip.	Run probe straight up rebar; secure with multiple zip-ties.

 

Do not span corners with tightly pulled probes; they will rip if either piece of rebar moves.	Run cables tight to corners and leave a small amount of slack in case the rebars move.
